Okay, so realize that this is a gross overestimate on all expenses, but this way we will know what we're getting into and if shit goes down we'll have some cushioning.

* we will obviously be splitting food costs, but overestimation factors in restaurants, "cultural" experiences, and alcohol.
** splitting gas with craigslist rideshare people will lower this cost as well as hitch hiking. Maybe a train trip will be in order if we're super tired. Otherwise buses around town etc. will add to this expense.
*** Fun is fun and we should factor it in. All unspent funds from all other budgets will go to this.
**** When in Italy, hostels & hotels was the thing that zapped my funds quicker than anything else. This is why I'm making the estimate so high, but I also fully plan on making full use of friends, couchsurfing, hospitalityclub.net and our tent.
